About The Artwork
My painting shows women gathered around a bonfire surrounded by a network connecting everything with the eye above, symbolizing God. In the picture, under the coating of shimmering turquoise and green, red stripes pierce. Because the painting at the beginning of its creation was scourged with a whip immersed in red paint. It was my response to the wrongs of the inquisition directed mainly at the wise women-witches. A circle of connected women heals the experiences of reincarnation, karmic or ancestral pasts and I have been holding circles and participating in many of them.
