This piece is a studio photograph of a chandelier, inspired by the pop art aesthetic of Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, printed on a 30 x 40 inch aluminum substrate. The ink used for the shadows is matte and for the highlights semi-gloss, which gives the highlights a sheen from certain angles. Hanging hardware is included. The subject, a cheap chandelier is hung and photographed in a studio setting which evokes both the consumerist commentary of the pop art movement and the contemporary experience of product imagery on eCommerce sites like . My hope is to add to the pop art conversation through the lens of online media. The piece is a great looking and thought-provoking addition to any household.
