Photo's taken in the early life of my own children. Project7 is a reaction to the millions 'say-cheese' photos taken all over the world. It tells the story of the other side of childhood; the lonely, melancholic and sometimes frightening one. Being a child is not only laugh and play. It takes hard work to develop and adapt to quick changes in your growing brain, the expanding world around you and constantly new impressions. Everything has to be explained in a rational, sometimes philosophical way, to fit a new element in an existing story. Unguarded moments show the stills in this process, no micro play. Crisis, revelation, freedom and contemplation are being experienced by these full growing human beings.
