About I started with analogue photography (there was no digital yet) At my University there was a year of analogue photography, and advertising photography. I fell in love with the dark room process, which I attended the laboratory for the 4 and a half years I studied there, outside of class hours; That was when I won my first Ilford competition, first place and my first exhibitions. During this period I worked as an assistant for major advertising photographers and architectural magazines. After graduating, I set up my own BW laboratory in my home, and began my career dedicated for a period only to photography (I am a sound/visual artist). I participated in exhibitions in Denmark, England, as well as works sold to collectors. Work The essence of the work is to extract the frequency of the chosen theme (an intrinsic part of sound/visual artistic research), in the form of essays. Some technical/conceptual characteristics permeate the work: extracting the ambient luminosity of the scene or theme, never using flash or any other post-production editing. Raw work, camera and film and theme, just. Photography has always been compared to hunting, making use of film; Ammunition was never wasted for nothing, it was a straight shot, the aim was to create a roll of 36 poses with 36 images ready on the negative itself. When I left the island of photography, and dedicated myself again to music and painting (paths I had already followed before photography), digital appeared, as well as the use of cell phones and especially colors (no longer just BW). But even using colors I think and see in black and white, the contrast relationship, gray scale... I always thought it was my dog's gaze.
