About The Artwork
The original charcoal drawing in black lines was created during episodes of night terrors. Using everyday objects such as ice-cubes because I tend to calm my head with an ice pack, this image was inspired by the same experience. Working with image-enhancing softwares and digital mixing I combined all elements together. Cubed Consciousness is part of my larger series Shared Consciousness. I feel that every human on this planet is connected in some way through our thoughts or consciousness, more often when we are experiencing moments of distress or disruption in our lives - we are equipped to empathize with another.
