About The Artwork
In this artwork, the author turned to classical mythology and created the image of the goddess Diana. Goddess of youth, hunting and nature. The sculptor stylized the figure, used geometry and abstract forms from which he constructed the body. According to the myth, the girl was always on the move, she was very fast and elusive. The author tried to create such a tension of volumes in static sculpture. The feeling of movement was created. At her feet sits a small dog - a faithful companion of the goddess during the hunt. The sculpture is created of wood combined with bronze.
