Photorealism
In the early ‘70s, many painters began making artworks based on photographs. This movement developed in parallel to high-resolution photography and blurs the line between the real and the imagined. Following in the footsteps of artists such as Robert Bechtle and Audrey Flack, these emerging artists continue to depict a high fidelity reality in their artworks.
