The work represents a figure of a child in pose and seated. The child who holds a large donated object between himself seems to dialogue with an external world that puts him in conditions of self-protection; there is a sort of melancholy that pervades his face but the scenographic effect highlighted by those cuts of color around him create a playful moment that seeks a sort of approval in the young man's gaze; it is as if habits and customs must seek the genuineness of the soul in order not to be trivially repetitive and the young individual seeks in himself the reason for things by scrutinizing the unknown. Even if the aspect of the painting appears theatrical and mysterious, there is a sense of reality that still takes a stable path and in the same way there is creativity and openness in its expectations.
