I love this piece.

This piece is 18 1/2" x 21" x 1 1/2". It is made of various size pieces of old recycled wood. The wood came from different projects I have worked on over the years. Some wood is from parts of my old studio, some from an old vintage chair. Once I had the wood pieces assembled I added a varnish transfer of a man riding a bike. The image itself is from my collection of vintage photos. I love this guy. I don't know who he is but I love him.

Varnish transfers can also be called Xerox transfers or image transfers. They are unpredictable sometimes in the application. This is a great example of a transfer that succeeded! Adding transfers to uneven surfaces can be super difficult.

The piece can hang on the wall or if you could display leaned up on a cabinet or piece of furniture. There is a hanger on the back to hang on the wall.

The white washed wood behind the artwork is not part of the piece. It is only used to display the artwork in the photo.
