About The Artwork
This piece is one of a series of tape drawings on dibond (aluminum) discs. The dibond has an embedded black-and-white cloud photograph printed on its surface on which I've drawn a series of overlapping and intersecting lines of color with thousands of tiny snippets of tape. The title is from a passage in the book The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami This piece requires no framing. The dibond disc comes with a z-bar mounted onto the back for hanging.
