About The Artwork
From up so high, they appear as virginal sisters, laying so close as to seem joined. The mischievous poses teases the eye into believing secrets abound in the hidden depths. As the onlooker follows the contours, there seems no end in sight, because a linear composition swings to and fro across the divide and then down the other side. When it comes to an end near the foot of one twin, it builds up it's own vertical wall that enables a jump across to the other side. A choice can be made to stay on the upper level or be daring and venture to lower depths. It's a never ending story.
