CAUGHT IN A SUMMER STORM. 2017. Drawing

It came out of nowhere and thrashed everywhere. After picnicking on the beach and settling down, they soon became aware that the intermittent breezes had elevated to another level with threatening consequences. The heavier items were easy to retrieve, but the linen, towels, and papers flew every-which way. Still on their knees, they became a rhythmic drama that unfolded with every gusty breath. Waves rolled in through the rocks and the pebbles began to sink, making rivulets that spread their fingers among all their belongings. With their wet hairs lashing about their faces, they squealed and grabbed at the flying debris.
