About The Artwork
Instead of an invisible friend, she's managed to conjure a ghostly image of herself. From an early age, she has endured this "shadow" persona. So attached have they become, that she allows her to appear in her most secret places without fear or threat. She was well read on the topic of Doppelgangers and aware of the fact they were usually seen as the harbinger of bad luck. In her own experience, this has not been the case, apart from a few initial misdemeanours, at the beginning of their courtship. She sees her more as her conscience. However, she still goes with her gut feelings, just in case.
