About The Artwork
Exhaustion. It takes away our vibrancy, our bubbly ways, our joy and laughter. Our bodies need rest to become whole again. The surging red energy becomes overwhelmed by the calming blue of the night. Our bodies are at rest, a deep ocean blue. The colors in this piece were the most important aspect for me. I wanted to emphasize the body at the end of a long day. Using tones of red as the 'surging energy' and shades of blue as calm and relaxation setting in.
