"Is it a Test?" Drawing

Freedom ranks highly in Jesamine's world and this is often reflected in her artworks along with a will to survive. Primitive instincts to flee, fight, hide, escape or stand your ground are a deeply embedded in creation.
Her deep connection with all things natural, including the living Earth, also feature in her work in contrast to her mockery of human greed and materialism. She is in awe of the resilience of nature and deplores the arrogance, ignorance and cruelty of mankind.
In childhood, Jesamine suffered deprecating abuse for over a decade. Although she fled those shackles and of being forced into art college in her teens, she later went on to study of her own accord qualifying in 3D design and ceramic art. A strong belief that all experiences are strengthening has sharpened her focus and creativity psychologically and empathically. Previously, her artwork sales have concentrated on pleasing images appealing to the masses. Safe, but not fulfilling. Hundreds of pieces have been sold, gifted or donated to charity auctions for good causes. Now she has the time and space to explore her hidden depths and create freely with passion and without restrictions or fear.
The pieces in this collection are entirely inspired from Jesamine's imagination. These manifest through subconscious visions, nightmares and notions which transpire into imagery before being captured and splayed out on paper or canvas.
