"Reactions to a Day in the Universe" is an evocative exploration of reality and perception. This piece, a portrait of two young women lying down and gazing upwards, reveals a world where figures are doubly reflected and distorted, embodying a fragmented vision of reality as shaped by time. In this work, the distortion of the women's forms invites viewers to question the very nature of what they perceive. The doubling and shifting contours suggest a universe in constant flux, where moments blend into each other, creating a tapestry of experiences that defy singular interpretation. The dual reflections serve as a metaphor for the multiplicity of human experience, capturing the transient and often elusive nature of our understanding. The women's serene expressions, juxtaposed with the fragmented depiction of their bodies, evoke a sense of calm amidst chaos. This duality mirrors the human condition, where clarity and confusion coexist, and where the passage of time shapes and reshapes our realities. "Reactions to a Day in the Universe" transcends mere representation, offering a poetic meditation on the fluidity of existence. It encourages viewers to embrace the uncertainty and beauty of life's ever-changing landscape, inviting a deeper contemplation of the interconnectedness of time, perception, and reality.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
