About The Artwork

In creating this vivid tableau, I fused the sharp angles of cubism with the boldness of pop art, using pastel and pen to weave texture and emotion into every stroke. This seated figure is more than just a form; it's a conduit for contemplation, wrapped in hues that speak to the human experience. It invites you to explore the layers of identity and perception, serving as a dynamic focal point that will infuse any space with thoughtful energy and vibrant conversation. This work is inspired by the Cubist works of Braque and the works of Patrick Nagel. It is a mix of materials- oil pastel, wood veneer, carpet, and vinyl that celebrates the human figure.
