About The Artwork
This oil pastel drawing is one of the "Himalayan winter series" made during one year of stay high in the mountains in a rural area where people live close to the traditional lifestyle that was a few handers years ago in the stone/mud houses. In this drawing, I have captured a view from my balcony of the winter apple orchard. This Himalayan area is famous by the artist Roerich family that has settled down in the village called Nagar.
