About The Artwork

Because of the number of pawns in this board game, the competition is constant to reach the other side and become a"promoted" which in turn rewards with the grandeur of becoming a Queen. This one displayed here is impatient for this to happen and spreads herself thinly for success. In theory, you can have 9 Queens. However, if you stick to the 8 Queen puzzle, the problem becomes the placing of these 8 on an 8 x 8 chessboard so that no two Queens threaten each other ie, none share the same row. This is the secret revolution to girl power chess. Begone the reigning King. It's going to take a lot of convincing, but baby steps .
