My animal portraits are partly reduced ink brush drawings. The griffon vulture, native to Europe, was almost completely eradicated at the beginning of the 20th century. A beautiful bird, absolutely fascinating on the ground as well as in the air. The focus of my drawing is on the standing gaze and the enormous beak shown from the front. The generously left white paper contributes significantly to the charisma of the drawing.
