Our daily lives are filled with many magical moments. Capturing and savoring these tiny events are part of what makes life worth living. A butterfly landing on a flower, a breeze rustling your hair, the scent of lunch lovingly cooking in the kitchen. In my painting practice I intuitively reach for these moments. Often I jot down my musings on scraps of paper and tack them to the studio wall reading them out loud now and again. Next to Approaching Serene hung a note scrawled; ... Meditating in the painted garden...crisp winter breezes, floating foliage, chirping chilly birds along the canal... Oil on square canvas allowing a variable orientation. Collector can turn the image for variety throughout the Seasons.
