After a rewarding 15-year career in the business world, I embarked on a new journey dedicated to the pursuit of artistic expression. Through rigorous training at prestigious institutions like New School, NYU, and the New York Academy of Art, I honed my skills and delved into various art forms and techniques. Drawing inspiration from seasoned artists and master painters, I refined my craft, embracing the intricacies of the old masters' technique to bring depth and authenticity to my work. My painting process includes 5 stages: 1. Drawing/tracing image onto the canvas, 2. Black & White Underpainting (Grisaille) 3. Layering Color in Oil Paint 4. Glazing 5. Varnishing. I do not paint on a photo!
In 2016, my passion for art was showcased at the esteemed Earth exhibit held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, where my "Faces of the World" collection captivated audiences with its powerful storytelling and cultural diversity. Since then, my artistic journey has been a continuous exploration of creativity, expression, and personal growth.
