About The Artwork
Triptych: there are three artworks of different formats with limited color spectrum used, including black, white, blue, yellow and their tints. Their symbolism exposes reasoning on the origin of life in the universe. Each painting shows how chaos gradually turns into the world as we know it. As paints are kept being mixed and details are kept been elaborated further, a landscape appears as a natural picture of the world. This is a linear story which follows the Bible story: first came the chaos; then were the light detached from the darkness and the water detached from the earth. The author doesn’t adhere to religious theory of creation of the world. The Big Bang theory describes the process in the entirely same way. Is the space a chaos indeed? Can one assert that the world had been woven from simple spectrum paints and has been moving towards those of complex spectrum, as if one has been mixing paints?
