Acrílico,recortables de fotocopias de mis propios dibujos sobre cartulina Basik Una película que tuvo mucho éxito durante la Gran Depresión fue Dames que en castellano se llegaría a llamar Música y mujeres fue dirigida por Ray Enright y Busby Berkeley en 1934 y protagonizada por Ruby Keeler y Dick Powell. En ella destacan los magníficos números de baile coreografiados por Berkeley, uno de los grandes por sus números musicales que solían basarse en patrones geométricos, tomas cenitales, primeros planos y representaciones caleidoscópicas. En Dames suenan melodías cuya coreografía para mí es espléndida como en I only have eyes for you, compuesta or Harry Warren y Al Dubin. Aparecen coristas llevando máscaras de Ruby Keeler juntándose para formar una cara gigante de Ruby. Todas las chicas que aparecen están vestidas, peinadas y maquilladas como copias de la protagonista. Haciendo referencia a Gilles Deleuze No hay repetición que no suponga una diferencia, no hay diferencia que no se sostenga en la repetición.

Since childhood, I have been obsessed with paper cut-outs and fashion magazines. My grandmother was a dressmaker who created fashionable suits and dresses from her own patterns. I feel that my work also follows a pattern - parts coming together like a mosaic in which I try to create harmony from a multitude of scraps, eventually finding a rhythm within repetition and patterns that resemble textile designs. My work evokes a carefree, dreamlike landscape, full of beauty, fullness of colour and textures. I take pleasure in breathing life into the idols of old movies and re-imagining them in scenes of my own making.
