Far East Landscape I. Painting

Travelling fills me up with experiences and with a desire to create. I love metropolises and cities, I love the act of traveling, the different people I see; each has their own atmosphere, smell, sounds and noise. Being within and still, watching it from the outside, from a certain distance. Endless number of cities, landscapes, ways of life – they all are atmospheres, colors, a cavalcade of positive and negative feelings. The process of painting - the layers of paint and time, the battle of shadows and lights, to make the extended moments infinite – whilst to me the space is the foundation of all of it. With all of my creations I instigate the spectator to immerse herself into the space, in which then she can wander, daydream and can fully loose herself /forget about herself.
