“The Earth counts time in billions of years. It took more than 4 billion years for it to make trees. In the chain of species, trees are a pinnacle, a perfect living sculpture. Trees defy gravity; they are the only natural element in a perpetual movement toward the sky. They grow unhurriedly toward the Sun that nourishes their foliage. Families of ‘trees’ form, united by customs and rituals that are handed down through the generations. Some adapt to the nature of their pasture and their pasture adapts to them. And both gain. They have inherited from these minuscule cyanobacteria the power to capture light’s energy. They store it and feed off it, turning it into wood and leaves which then decompose into a mixture of water, mineral, vegetable and living matter.” Forests are the lungs of the Earth, without them we, humans would die! In order for us to live and prosper, we need to protect the forests. - Home (2009), the documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand This painting was or is exhibited at: - The Brick Lane Gallery in London, UK (October 2016) - Luxury Villa in Costa Brava, Spain (Aug - Sept 2018) - Bar del Convent in Barcelona, Spain (Jan - Feb 2019)

Tui Sada is a Croatian artist living and working in Barcelona, Spain. His work is multidisciplinary and explores ideas of our modern landscape and environment as well as insights of artists expressions towards the beauty in the world. Art accompanied him since childhood. As a student he started working as a life model in drawing and painting classes. After a year of listening how to draw and paint he decided to try it himself. He is mostly inspired by painters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Pollock, William Turner and Caspar David Friedrich. He is a young Croatian artist who started painting with established academic painter Hrvoje Majer. With his instructions Tui Sada is continuously exploring the world of arts, mostly painting abstract paintings following his emotions and interests. He obtained a bachelors degree from University College of international relations and diplomacy Dag Hammarskjöld in Zagreb. He is looking forward to each new challenge, each new exhibition and commission.
