Future - Pregnant Painting

After years of trying to get pregnant, my partner and I have finally had our consultation with the IVF clinic before beginning the physical IVF journey! I painted this piece near the end of 2021 when things were getting really hard. The most stressful part of all of this has been the waiting... waiting on other people to make decisions on what is probably the biggest event in our life and not having the standard experience that most people have, has been something I've had to come to terms with. Even though we have been trying to conceive for almost 6 years, only now, it feel like we can see the future... My heart goes out to all the people out there who dream of carrying/holding a child of their own one day ❤️
