About The Artwork
This 16x16 inch seascape is inspired by walks by the sea just a short walk from my studio. The sea was calm with only a light breeze which created small waves and the sky had a 'high key' blue mixed with a light haze which made the horizon fade away beyond sight. The sea is created with endless dashes of different blue tones in an impressionistic style and the painting continues on all four side deep edges and does not require framing. It is signed at the back with acrylic.

Stefan Fierros grew up in Madrid,Spain.His parents,architect and classical dancer/artist left a strong artistic influence since childhood. He has lived around the world in Spain,Mexico,Paris and England. This has created a very mixed cultural background which has influenced his work. Working in Painting & Drawing his work is mainly Abstract but also often uses the subject of landscape and nature. His main interest is in 'the nature of the spiritual' and different 'states of being' he experiences in nature etc. He studied art at the Institute of Fine Art & Design in Southampton.England. His work can be found in private collections in the UK and abroad.
