Grafitti I saw a few years ago in Venice, Italy initially inspired this painting though by the time I was finished, it had nothing to do with it! In the midst of painting this piece, the word Go appeared. I eventually covered it up, but the word never left my psyche. Perhaps it was the motivation I felt, or maybe the pent up desire to get back to traveling once the pandemic is behind us, but I felt compelled to give this energetic tangle of shapes the title of Go! And it was giving me such a Miró vibe, so my last bit of work I did on it was to give it the star shape in the lower left as a nod to his brilliance and perhaps it's my lucky star symbol that I'll get back to Spain one day to see his museums! I'm ready to Go! This piece includes a beautiful custom Italian wood floater frame.

I am an artist from Nashville, Tennessee. I have been working in the music business, touring the world with musicians for the last 30 years. The extensive travel experience has provided endless inspiration for my art from all corners of the globe. While painting is my favorite form of expression, I also am an avid photographer and still dabble often in graphic design. I am a founding member of a small group of abstract painters called Contemporary Collective of Nashville. I have also been a member of the Nashville Artist Guild for several years. My work is featured in a few regional galleries, and has made its way into homes and corporate collections around the USA, Europe and Australia. Nearly every painting I do is on 1.5" deep gallery-wrapped canvas. The edges are always painted with a neutral color to compliment the painting, so they can be hung with or without a frame.
