About The Artwork
"Ice Queen" belongs to the "Luiza's Mirror" collection. Fascinated by the childhood fairytale, I depicted the Ice Queen as a beautiful woman, who is proud but at the same time lonely. Like all the paintings in the series, she has the features of both a femme enfant and a femme fatale. The use of cold colors make her seem distant, but the big eyes are calling for love and attention.
