This painting speaks about the invisible thread that binds two beings together. The figures intertwine not only physically, but energetically — as if sharing one breath, one pulse. I am inspired by the mysterious life force that moves through human connection. In moments

In my recent series Sensitive Compositions, I focus on moments of physical and emotional closeness — touch, embrace, support — where bodies are intertwined and boundaries become unstable. These figures are not portraits of specific individuals; they function as emotional states. Through distortion, shifting proportions, and expressive gestures, I aim to capture inner conditions rather than external likeness. Sensitive Compositions is a series of paintings in which I explore bodily vulnerability as a form of communication. I am interested in the moment of touch—physical and emotional—when the body becomes a carrier of memory, tension, desire, fear, and trust at the same time. The figures in these works are not portraits of specific people—they are rather states. The intertwined bodies, shifted proportions, active contour, and pulsating color emphasize the instability of the moment: intimacy here is not idealized, it is fragile, sometimes uncomfortable, sometimes painful, but always honest. Color in the series works as an emotional marker. Reds, fleshy, and cold blues coexist in tension, creating a sense of inner conflict between attraction and protection, presence and disappearance. The painterly gesture is intentionally open and rough—I leave traces of the process to emphasize the corporeality of the painting itself.
