‘ La Couleur de L’Amour ‘ oil painting on canvas was created for the Regional Museum of Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Montreal, Canada. The collection 1 of 8 paintings has a statue incorporated from a famous sculptor and is titled ‘ Journey into Creativity’. The inspiration for this particular painting came from the Louvre Museum and D’Orsay Museum during our travel to Paris. The statue in white marble of the lovers Acis and Galatea by Auguste Ottin is part of the Medici Fountain found in Le Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris. I chose this stunning statue and humbly adding my personal contemporary touches. Travel has the power to change and transform us, taking us to a place of joy, wellness and healing. My goal was to capture the energy, the feelings, the colours of the magical city of Paris.
