I love painting wild and free, splashing colors out of the bottle on the paper, scratch it to mix the colors. And even though I am a 100% abstract artist..... now and then I paint a heart, maybe as a symbol of overflowing emotions :-).
I always work with the best acrylic paints like Lascaux from Switzerland and a very special, thick cardboard for passe-partouts from my art shop.
You can have this painting framed with a red passe-partout if you like it.

https://www.petrapainting.com https://www.instagram.com/petrapainting Born close to Nuremberg I grew up in the city of Albrecht Duerer and have been under the spell of this fascinating artist since I was a child. Besides my job as a dentist my heart always belonged to art. I painted every free minute, I wanted to capture the music of the waves, the fire of the setting sun and the hymn of the wind in my paintings. Inspired by visits of museums all over Europe my art got influenced by 'Informal Art'. My role models are Emil Schumacher, Anselm Kiefer, Jean Dubuffet, Alberto Burri and last but not least I was impressed deeply by Jackson Pollock and Franz Kline. With my paintings I want to express a passionated joy about the beauty of life, the beauty of art and the beauty of the world. And I would like to draw peoples' attention on current topics and issues. I want to make aware of the problems of our time as environmental destruction.
