About The Artwork
My current practice is concerned with exploring the themes of femininity, female body, the unconscious drawings and the intangible female mental realm. My artworks examine the relationship between the female body and its emotional experience (presenting its physicality and dynamics). My series of work “Mama” is inspired by ancient figurines of women and the Mother Archetype. The Mother embodies a collective/universal female body, which visualises the female nature inside the body.
