About The Artwork

On the canvas of intertwined emotions, my brush captured the face of someone who was once my great love and paradoxically, the protagonist of my farewell. The clear, celestial eyes hold a gaze that transcends mere visual representation. In their depth, flashes of melancholy reflect the day our story reached its culmination. Each stroke of the brush seeks to express the intensity of that moment, creating a blend of colors that breathe life into both the sadness and the beauty of parting. The tousled, dark hair merges with the abstract background, where a palette of greens, whites, and blacks forms an abstract landscape resonating with the complexity of our shared experiences. This fusion of colors reflects the duality of our relationship: the harmony and chaos that coexisted in our joint history. A hand rests over the half of her crimson red lips, symbolizing the interruption of dialogue, the suppression of unspoken words, and the complexity of feelings left unexpressed. The intensely red lips visually declare the passion we once shared, now silenced by circumstances. Ultimately, this piece is more than a portrait; it is a visual testament to a chapter that has come to an end. Through strokes and colors, my brush has captured the essence of a farewell, with all its nuances and contradictions. This face, with its melancholic gaze, becomes a silent echo of what once was and an open door to what lies ahead.

Pablo Nahuel Vidal Quinteiro is an Argentine hyperrealist visual artist and painter. He was born in Remedios de Escalada in 1994. The son of a teacher mother and an engineer father, Pablo Quinteiro inherited his love for painting from his maternal grandmother, who also encouraged him to pursue the path of visual art. From a young age, he began to draw and immerse himself in the teachings of local teachers and artists. At the age of 15, he enrolled in the "Luis Ordoñez" drawing school, from which he graduated after three years. There, he learned to master different techniques such as acrylic, watercolor, and pastel. Since then, Pablo started to explore the world of painting on his own. He learned to paint in oil, and the level of detail in his paintings led him to exhibit in various exhibitions and competitions in different areas of Greater Buenos Aires and the Federal Capital. Inspired by artists like Rembrandt, Vermeer, Casey Baugh, and Mike Dargas, Pablo studied various styles and developed a keen interest in realism, which, over the years, evolved into his passion for hyperrealistic art. In his most recent works, he decided to experiment with more rustic and passionate brushstrokes; however, he continues to preserve the essence and quality that characterize him.
