Mini Abstract Landscape Painting

My artwork celebrates the inherent beauty of landscapes, still life, Jewish ritual objects, and Jewish Holidays in watercolor, oil pastel, and pencil. I use professional quality artists materials to ensure color vibrancy and lightfastness. Experimenting with various media allows me to capture the unique characteristics of my subjects. I have a personal relationship with my artwork. Subjects for a still life are the objects around me. Places I’ve visited become my landscapes. My abstract art reveals my mood or feeling at a particular moment. My artistic style consists of bold broken colors. This aids the human eye's optical blending process, producing visually appealing color combinations. What do I want to say with my art? Know that the mundane is not so mundane, the simple not so simple. There’s inherent beauty and complexity in even the simplest of objects and places that deserves to be captured. I'm a member of Salute to Women in the Arts and Hackensack Art where I enjoy interacting with, and learning from, other artists.
