About The Artwork
The painting was inspired by the beautiful sky and by the incredible painter Turner. I am interested in how the world goes on, you can look up and enjoy the moment or choose to look down and see darkness. Each day the sunrises and sets and you have a choice to experience the day or simply ignore it. Time is a conciousness a choice to be part of and use, to all of your ability or let the days roll into each other. I love using oils it gives me flexibility to feel the bmedium under my brush and mould it and play with it. When I paint I feel like a free chuld playing carelessly enjoying the moment.

I was so scared to feel that I lost a part of who I was. A friend suggested to me that I should consider painting again. I said "I wouldn't know where to start" but it was heard and a few months later I had a dream and this was it. This work is called "inner child" I focused on healing myself as a child to all the trauma I have experienced through life. From a little child, there were a lot that I felt needed to be examined, and realized, that I was only little when a lot happened. Throughout my life, I blamed myself, felt abandoned and not worthy as well as moments of I am stronger than this. 13 years ago I woke up and was paralyzed, dealing with a crazy autoimmune crash, watching my beautiful twins go through so much with 43 days of NICU. Then covid they had me in the ICU for 6 months last year and continuously crashing. Just as I was getting stronger I got covid twice in 12 weeks. This painting is my fight song. I have been through all the emotions in this painting. I am grateful.
