Linda O’Neill’s art is a heartfelt exploration of nature, color, and emotion, deeply rooted in her Northern California upbringing and enriched by a family legacy of creativity. With a grandfather who combined art and medicine, Linda’s passion for artistic expression was nurtured from an early age, leading her to formal studies at Dominican University in California.

Her artistic journey began in the realm of digital art at Industrial Light + Magic, a division of LucasFilm, where she honed her skills in a cutting-edge environment. Yet, it was her eventual return to traditional abstract painting, sparked by a move to Colorado, that allowed her to fully embrace a tactile, layered creative process. Influenced by masters such as Cy Twombly and Joan Mitchell, Linda seeks to convey raw emotion through a vibrant interplay of color, texture, and form.

Her unique technique blends acrylics, mixed media, collage, and sketching tools, driven by intuition and subconscious impulses.
