About The Artwork
Plate 16, forms part of subliminal series 2 paintings which were created in 2017. I first started paint in 1984 and since my art has evolved. Subliminal and minimalist style are all part of an attempt in capturing various expressions of life (very essence that flows and connects our universe). This particular painting is aimed to connect and uplift the viewer into a higher lighter state. To have an experience, the viewer must allow time to first sit alone in front of the painting (3-4 mins) in silence without expectation and the rest will unfold. However anyone can enjoy the work and still have the experience in the moment as sitting is not a requirement. It's art with an open expression.
