Contact us.I’m a contemporary artist based in Berlin, working primarily with abstract painting and mixed media.
My work explores transitions, inner shifts, memory, and the forces that shape who we become. I’m particularly interested in moments when different emotions can exist at the same time—love and exhaustion, closeness and the need for freedom, loss and connection.
My current body of work grew out of my experience of motherhood and the way it changed how I saw myself, my childhood, my mother, and the connections between generations. While the work begins with personal experience, I don’t depict it literally. Instead, I use layers, traces, colour, texture, and recurring movement to explore how memories and experiences continue to change within us over time.
I work with acrylic and mixed media, building up and removing layers, allowing parts of the surface to remain visible while others are covered and transformed. Ochres and browns often refer to origin and memory, blue enters as something new, and a recurring red trace represents love and connection.
Before focusing on painting, I studied Audiovisual Media and worked for many years with photography, moving image, and visual storytelling. That background continues to influence the way I approach composition, rhythm, and emotional expression.
I want my paintings to remain open enough for viewers to bring their own experiences to them. The work begins with my story, but it does not have to end there.
