About The Artwork
The Matador and Bull depend on one another in a symbiotic relationship of good and evil. The matador's cape, the pageantry and the aggression are necessary for their relationship. In each case one of these two will suffer or meet their death after their dance-yet they both live to encounter one another regardless of the outcome. Their relationship is tragic and beautiful with pokes and pricks of the cactus along the way.
