Rough, intuitive, dynamic. In search of pure, authentic, elemental life, Eckert follows a fundamental formal language that responds to impulses and inspiration from natural and artificial structures. In her work, Eckert embraces the concept of failure and regeneration. She prefers to work with paper, which becomes an equal partner in the creative process due to its distinctive properties. Fragile yet unconditionally resilient, it poses the existential questions to her. Faliure, discarding, destroying make us aware of the fragility of life and reflects the possibility of a perspective chancge. A way of working that results in a lasting and inexhaustible source of inspiration. Eckert delves deep into her own experiences and emotions, granting the viewer the same opportunity.
