« Yesterday » A road trip from the United States through Google Earth. A small American town that seems uneventful. A popular image that seems stemming straight from the 50s. A dream city for the average white American family, a perfect world. I'm on the road, I am stopping in this town to have a snack at the local restaurant. Here, no conflict, no immigration issues, no "my God is better than yours," simple meal with a simple life, an idea of happiness. I go out of my daily life, I feel belong to a community for an instant. I know this is not life. This is just a moment of happiness, after I will return to real life. Acrylic on Inkjet printing glued onto canvas (cotton 380g / m2). Size 13 x 13 x 0,1 cm (5.11 x 5.11 x 1/128 inches). This is an acrylic on canvas, cut out and pasted on cardboard once the work is completed. The artwork size is 13 x 13 cm, it is glued to a cardboard 20 x 20 cm to be framed on frame 20 x 20 cm. This work is protected by a gloss varnish. This work will be sent in a cheap frame without glass (additional pictures), ready to hang. You can hang it as is or change the frame at your convenience. Frame size: 22 x 22 x 3 cm.

I am a polymorphous artist, if painting is my favorite medium, I also use other media at my disposal: drawing, photography, digital art, sculpture and video where music is present. Each work is approached done by an intellectual and plastic reflection, photos, sketches, notes, the result is a model of the desired plastic image, realized on Photoshop. The execution is mainly done in acrylic or oil. My work is strongly steeped in my Corsican origins, the wild waste dumps, the abandoned villages, the ruins, the invading scrub, the dust of the summer, theses images are strongly printed in my unconscious, but also the exile, the departure and the return, which characterizes us the Corsicans. My works today are mostly urban landscapes drawn from television, photographic imagery, my travels and Google Maps. I do a research work, a kind of inventory of our human society with my particular vision. My work reflects the noisy and uncertain silence of our time, I question my contemporaries about our paradoxes our choices of life for the future, by submitting images of the past or present imprinted with human presence. These images are most often related to childhood, hopes born in childhood and disillusionment of adulthood.
