About The Artwork
It was inspired by a small sculpture made in the Philippines made with real shells. It is sold as "pasalubong" or a gift brought from vacation. I bought one in Camiguin island. Inspired by it I painted it with a coral reef behind it and waves crushing just above it to remind me of the beauty of Camiguin island and its underwater beauty as well.
