ABOUT THE ARTWORK

When i saw the film the 'remains of the day' i was attracted by the particular scene of hopkins, who was trying to avoid the flirt of Ema tomson, saying to her 'please don't interrupt my personal moments'. Ema knew that hopkins was in love with her but at the same time knew also that he was unable to express his feelings to her, due to his rigid education and character. She tried to help him express himmself in vain.

I was born in the city of thessaloniki ,the second biggest town in Greece, where i grew up and i continued to live there till now.My artistics influences have to do with artists who love the colors and simplicity like D.Hockney, Alex Katz, Henri Mattise,Tom Weselman and maybe Andy Warhol. My inspiration is drawn by the spirit of friendly young women with freedom of thought and my future aims is to capture a sence of sentualism, childishness and sophistication of those women through painting.
