The story of the inner turmoil of a woman named Firdaus that I read from the writings of an Egyptian novelist, Nawal El Saadawi, dragged me into a contemplation. Can a woman, who is equipped with human rights by God, be protected from the evils of the world system in which she lives? Until now women are not unlike commodity goods, and often become a walking exhibition to satisfy the desires of men. This is disgusting, and disgusting at the same time. Because basically, women also have the right to be seen and valued in terms of their capacity as human beings, not only through their physical and biological anatomy. It was Firdaus, a woman who was sentenced to death on charges of killing a pimp, then refused the authorities' offer of clemency. "The death penalty is the highest form of freedom," he concluded. His despair for self-liberation through human rights has reached a dead end. He has lived it for years, he has fought for it, he has taken care of it, he still suffers. What is mustahak is self-liberation through death, spiritual release from the shackles of the body which fornicate its freedom.

Born in Bantul on November 6, 2002 I started to like drawing since I was young, but I haven't focused on learning closer to art itself, then after graduating from junior high school I focused on studying fine arts at SMSR Jogja in 2019 until now. Creating is just an expression of what I feel and recording traces of events/events that may be meaningful in life. For the creative process now, I still use themes about my daily life and the past, using paper and canvas to express my ideas.
