My name is Boris Kulakov, (Federation of European Photographers FEP EP - EUROPIAN PHOTOGRAPHER, League of Professional Photographers of Russia) I was born and raised in the easternmost city of Europe in Ufa. This is a beautiful city that has absorbed the huge cultural diversity of Russia. A few years ago, my life changed a lot, then I decided to professionally engage in photography. But I am not only a photographer, but also a psychologist and I see in people what does not lie on the surface, what is not always noticeable in the reflection of the mirror. Photography gave me the opportunity to conduct a cultural dialogue with the whole world, to express my perception of reality, thought and emotion through the camera in a language-language of images that everyone understands. The possibilities of the modern world, where borders are becoming more conditional and the Internet allows me to tell about my view of photography to many viewers in real life whom I would never have seen. In my works, I strive to get away from restrictive norms of perfection and idealization, all plots become equal. I like the concise and simple style of expression. This gives me the opportunity to "get" from an ordinary or naive picture a new essence of things and phenomena. I am attracted to photography as an "instant" art, when preparation gives way to surprise, and efforts - a quick decision. Art, like a blind date, like a moment, like a bright meeting. I actively participate in international photo exhibitions and competitions.
