ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I made this photograph in Curitiba, Brazil. This is the Oscar Niemeyer Museum, with its futuristic forms, designed by the famous architect of the same name. Seeing the clouds of the sky reflected in the glass of the façade, I was motivated to photograph and chose an angle that exalted the perspective created by the divisions of the glass panels. In addition, the curved shape of the building was highlighted, creating a boundary between what is sky and what is building.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
