About The Artwork

The same event can have a different assessment depending on the state of the mind at a given moment. Our thoughts, which are secondary to feelings, are guided by the limbic system of the brain and easily take on the tint of a background emotion. Oriental religions and philosophy schools have been studying this for thousands of years. Western scientists are also interested in this issue. Dr. David Hawkins has used Applied Kinesiology techniques for 20 years to create his Map of Consciousness. He used a manual muscle test on thousands of volunteers to determine basic states, their conditional numerical values of energy levels and their impact on others. The result of his research can be represented as a line graph in the range of values from 0 to 1000: Death (0) - Shame (20) - Guilt (30) - Apathy (50) - Grief (75) - Fear (100) - Desire (125) - Anger (150) - Pride (175) - Courage ( 200) - Neutrality (250) - Willingness (310) - Acceptance (350) - Reason (400) - Love (500) - Joy (540) - Peace (600) - Enlightenment (700-1000) Read full story on https://mikhailray.art/ Artwork comes hand signed and numbered with certificate of authenticity. Mikhail was born on February 22, 1984 in Kherson, Ukraine in a family of ship cooks. His childhood and youth were spent on the ruins of the communist era with all the ensuing consequences. He followed the footsteps of his parents to the maritime officer career at sea, gained financial independence, but no satisfaction. Looking for senses, he started to experiment with digital photography solely as a hobby. That all changed in 2009, when he first saw realistic digital collages. Since then, he has been actively working and developing in this genre, getting satisfaction from creating artworks with spiritual and philosophical meaning. Experimenting with techniques and images, he discovered his own style to convey both rational and sensual sides of his world. He uses artistic practice as a tool for exploring and transforming himself. Since 2014 his single artworks and projects have received more than 60 awards in international professional photography contests, including International Photography Awards, Prix de la Photographie Paris, Sony World Photography Awards, ND Awards, Tokyo International Photography Awards, OneEyeland Photography Awards, Moscow International Photography Awards. He was featured in digital and printed publications worldwide.
