The sheet was made in the technique of lithography. This work was created in the genre of Ukrainian urban landscape of the mid-50s of the twentieth century. Attribution Babkova Alexandra Andreevna (1923–2006) was a Ukrainian graphic artist and painter. She graduated from the Saratov Art College (1949). Graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (now the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture) in 1955 (her teachers were I. Shcheglov, B. Milovidov and A. Pashchenko). She worked in the field of easel painting and graphics. From 1954, she took part in republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. A member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine from 1960. Works of A. Babkova are presented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Preservation The work is in a good state. It will complement the collection of connoisseurs of Ukrainian easel graphics of the era of the 50s of the twentieth century. It will also be interesting to lovers of the Ukrainian cityscape genre.
